2008. Stretch People appear on CCTV, Chinese TV. Comedy Festival Beijing

Christchurch, New Zealand

2007. Corporate gigs at the Leadenhall Markets in London.
Humour festival in Bilbao, Spain.
Tours of Canada and South Africa.

2006. Martin Varallo performs his solo act with Cirique Du Soleil. A 7 month contract on board the Constellation, Flag ship of Celebrity Cruises.
John Beresford performs in South Africa, Barbados and world wide with his solo show.
Stretch People perform throughout the year at corporate dinners and galas.
Stretch to perform at the British Circus Convention in August. A short tour of Eire and Cabaret at the National Theatre London.

2005. Martin creates new material with Merceds Chenard."I'm Sorry!"
Both John & Martin create solo MC material.
Stretch have 2 sell out nights at the Circus Space caberet in UK.
Stretch People are the 'MUST SEE' show of the Festival of Fools in Belfast.
Lilycaire, Martin's daughter, at the age of three is riding her bike with out stabalisers!!! and so is Martin!!!

2004, Stretch People perform in Japan for a month. The show is done in Japanese and Stretch People are asked back for Golden Week. Stretch create a new 8 minute routine packed full of goodness. Tour of UK and writing shows for other companies.

2003, The move to San Francisco, USA, for 4 months appearing at Teatro Zinzanni. Followed by performances in UK, including the Womad Festival.

Autumn 2002 The first contract with Teatro Zinzanni, a restaurant cabaret show in Seattle, USA, and appearances at “Singapore Comedy Nights”.

Autumn 2002,The birth of Lilyclaire to Martin and Dominique, WHAT A GIG!!

2002, “Pomp Duck” kept Stretch People busy untill the “Chairs!” show once more toured  North America for the summer.

Autumn 2001 was the opening of Pomp, Duck and Circumstance in Berlin. Stretch People played two eccentric waiter characters in this Restaurant/Cabaret show.  The chair stack towered over the bewildered guests six nights a week, this was German Variety at it’s best, directed by David Shiner.

2001 began in Wales, saw two separate visits to New Zealand with the “Chairs!” show,  and then toured through Belgium and Holland before signing a contract that would keep Stretch People away from airports for 9 months...

Summer 2000 was filled with shows in UK, Belgium, Holland, Germany, a week in Quebec City, Festival D'ete, and a set for 8000 people at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

1999 - 2000 Stretch People performed as part of “Circus Crimbo” a christmas circus special at Blackheath Halls, London. January was spent in New Zealand - “The World Busker Festival” and the America’s Cup in Auckland.

Autumn 1999 a national tour of "There's Another One" including a week run at The Belfast International Festival.

1999 saw "There's Another One" premiered at the London International Mime Festival then a weeks run at the Brighton Festival.  The summer “Chairs!” tour of Canada finished at the Vancouver International Comedy Festival, before heading over to the  Channel Islands, Holland, Belgium, and UK.  

1998 Stretch People did their first tour of International performance festivals through Canada, Europe, and Singapore with their street theatre show "Chairs!"

1997 the company performed in "Conspiracy" a sci-fl circus cabaret at The London  International Mime Festival. While producing their first full length theatre/comedy show;  "There's Another One".

1996 Stretch People toured with Mamaloucos Circus with a show devised by the performers.

1995 saw a six-month project with Entertainment Aid Charity "The Serious Road Trip". This project culminated in a 5-week tour of refugee centres and front line towns   in Croatia and Slovenia.

1994 The early days, street shows at the Edinburgh Festival, and a tour through France and Spain.
